Brewers Fayre Flagstaff Island

I have visited brewers fayre restaurants before and this has to be the worst one i have experienced. We popped in here at lunchtime as we were waiting to check into the Premier Inn next door. We were seated to a table by a pleasant member of staff and thats about the best bit..... We were handed our menus and the drinks menu was covered in old food, including quite a noticeable piece of lettuce . Baring in mind that hygiene is very much at the forefront of everything at the moment this didn't seem to bother the staff member. After seeing this, we decided to grab a quick bite, so chicken goujons and dirty fries. The goujons turned up very well done and the dirty fries, what a rip off, 4 quid for 10 fries, tonnes of cheap bbq sauce, 2 bits of bacon and a sprinkle or should i say a dusting of cheese!! Whilst looking around waiting for our plates to be taken we noticed the dirt on the floor, now you would think the restaurant was full... No there was us and 2 other tables. So no excuses for not having a quick sweep to clear old food off the floor when there's 2 staff members on. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you were desperate. I would recommend using the hand sanitizer on your way out!

Have been staying at the premier inn located next door for business, took full advantage of the meal deal option when booking as this is the most cost effective way of getting a great meal both breakfast and dinner.Was served by Carolynne on many occasions and found the service warm and welcoming.Will be looking to book here again next time I am in the area both business and pleasure.

Spectacularly bad, first time I have seen a queue of people waiting for refunds. Food was burnt to a crisp and inedible. It had clearly been left under hot lights for a lengthy period of time judging by the sauces on the plates. Incompetent is an understatement. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Awful service, awful staff, awful food. I cannot actually find anything positive about the restaurant.

Had a fabulous meal. Lovely tasting Sunday roast. Not been for awhile. So made a lovely change. Will definitely be coming back again. Many thanks to the whole team a fantastic experience. The team here at Flagstaff Island a real credit to the company. Many thanks. See you again soon...
