I visited this pub for lunch with colleagues during a business trip to Cardiff. Despite its name, Brewhouse, the selection of beers on tap was surprisingly limited. However, the waitstaff were excellent; our food took about 10 minutes longer than expected, and they kindly offered us a complimentary round of drinks as an apology. The food itself was solid pub fare—nothing extravagant, but it was delicious. The Brewhouse has a wonderful atmosphere and interesting decor. Don't miss the record covers that adorn the stairs leading up to the restrooms!
The live music is always top notch everytime I've been here. The bands are top of the pops, the Dragonflies was the last band we seen and their version of Seven Nation Army was unreal. You have to put up with egos inside mind few men who think their mustard just give them a wide birth and enjoy your night. The staff were great could of done with a couple of extra pair of hands at the bar little bit of a wait and you had people jumping the que the bar staff didn't know who to serve first. It's worth a night out, though.
The food was disappointing, the service was pretentious, and the staff seemed to lack basic intelligence, which really detracted from the overall experience. It's unfortunate to see a great location squandered like this. I suggest checking out some of the negative reviews on Tripadvisor, where you'll find not only frustrating experiences from other patrons but also dismissive replies from management. This truly reflects the atmosphere of the pub. I would recommend choosing a different place to dine.
What an evening! This place was incredibly vibrant. The bouncers were efficient and well-informed, ensuring that everyone had a great experience at the venue. The band and music were fantastic, and the bar staff were excellent as well. The establishment is well-managed—top marks all around. I will definitely return! Réservez une table maintenant
