My wife and I went in yesterday around 3pm for an early dinner, she ordered the open face turkey dinner with chicken noodle soup and I ordered a cheeseburger deluxe (cooked medium) and a side of gravy. Before we knew it, under 10 minutes her turkey dinner was brought to the table. Then roughly 3-5 minutes my food and her soup was dropped off. So instead of bringing over the soup first like any other place does, she's trying to eat both at the same time so they're hot. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.Today was a special day for our family and the youngest wanted to go to the diner. Unfortunately we went to the wrong one. During the trip the server not only gave us the wrong meals, forgot half of one meal and then argued about it, which we later found out went to another table, mixed up drinks by giving us the wrong refills (not even just mixing it up at the table) but overall she had a poor attitude and didn 't come back for over an hour to check on us. Place looks small on the outside but quite surprisingly pretty big and roomy on the inside. The staff is very very attentive and polite. Bunch of cute waitresses with big smiles ?. The food is excellent with actually pretty decently sized portions. The curly fries I had were crisp and delicious, The pesto chicken paninni was huge melty and cooked perfectly ?. I really can't say anything bad about the place. For a quick lunch with a friend or for a work break. I highly suggest it.
The food has always been good, but the staff are in need of better customer service.. the waitress we had wasn’t very nice and had an attitude!! I will not be coming back, I will go to rainbow diner instead.

Depends on the day. Some of the servers get to know the regulars and will have their drinks ready and waiting. Some servers think they know what the customer wants and end up ruining their meal.
Great NJ dinner.. breakfast, pastrami and rye, turkey clubs, fries and amazing Cole slaw great dinners.. best diner in ocean count by far
Even with a large crowd, the waitress was pleasant, the food was good and the back room is comfortable.
Somewhat worn equipment and furnishings but otherwise very good
