This was my second time trying the fried green tomatoes at this restaurant, and I absolutely loved the variety of ripe tomatoes they used, especially the Tomatillo topping. The only downside was that the grits needed a bit more salt. However, the Calamari and Dip Appetizer was a perfect combination of cold and hot, with the crispy calamari contrasting nicely with the roasted flavors. The spinach salad was both visually appealing and fragrant, with the vinegar adding the perfect touch. We will definitely try to recreate this salad at home, once we figure out the dressing they use. The coconut white chocolate mousse with the chocolate topping was heavenly, like the sky in a cup. And to top it...
The food was delicious. The Hawaiian pork and spinach was excellent. However, the grilled lamb chops did not meet our expectations. It had been a while since we had food that was prepared and presented so well. The apple crumb cake with coffee was a fantastic way to finish the meal. The wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and we will definitely be returning.
Despite the proximity, this was my first time to visit this place. Although her system failed in the middle of serving, the service was excellent! I only ate a sandwich, but it was excellent! wings were fantastic; I had them only because I had believed them; there was no need for additional buffalo sauce because they were perfectly sown! I will certainly return here!!!
The restaurant has a great selection of drinks and food. The beverages and burgers we ordered were delicious. There are also plenty of gluten and dairy free choices available on the menu. The atmosphere may not be very exciting, but it's a popular spot to run into familiar faces from the neighborhood.
