Bridge Inn Eskdale

Stayed one night while visiting Scafell Pike (only 20 minutes away). Check in was a breeze and we were delighted to see the room which was spacious with complementary tea and coffee. The bathroom was also quite large. The bar was great having sky sports and TNT sports alongside reasonable prices for drinks. The food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent and again reasonably priced, with the bar staff polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Visited a couple of times while staying on nearby campsite. Traditional English (none themed) pub with nice food atmosphere. Good selection of beers. My wife did comment that the various house wines were poor, which did put us off going again (Should be alright if your buying your own bottle). It can be busy especially at weekends when you may have to book. Service: 4 Location: 5
