This place is on al.com list of 50 best bbq restaurants in Alabama and it was not disappointed. I had the pulled pork plate and my buddy had ribs. The pig was tender and smokey and I loved the bark on it. Not every restaurant cooked pork, so it has a nice bark, but Brooks did and it added a beautiful text contrast and a slightly more greasy bite. The ribs were ridiculous! My buddy tried to give me one while I kept the bone and the meat slipped off immediately. They were super juicy and delicate and the taste was from the charts! This was the last planned food facility on this trip we visited, and it was the perfect place to put it on... the kind of family business you want to return... a lot of history to this place... I had a fine platelet of ribs with real homemade potato salad and their special Koleslaw... Yum... also an order of lemon pepper wings and slices of sweet potato cake to remember a better time... now to find a place to picnic

Great BBQ....the smoke is wonderful...all sides are familiar but they have a Brooks twist...you gotta eat here...cooking BBQ in Alabama since 1965
