The grilled chicken is fantastic, the pulled pork is amazing, and the mac and cheese is incredibly rich. They also have a nice selection of beers on tap. The restaurant will be closed for a few weeks next month for exterior upgrades and menu changes. I really enjoyed the interior as it is, and I hope they leave it as is and continue serving that delicious chicken! I didn't try the BBQ beef, but if it's anything like the chicken and pork, I can only imagine how good it is.
This place would have received a 5-star rating. The food was fantastic, but our server was not up to par. Having BBQ without enough napkins is a definite issue. We waited a very long time for the server to even check on how we were enjoying our meals and to offer us another drink. She was very friendly, but that doesn't equate to good service. I’ll definitely return for the food, but I’ll choose to sit at the bar next time.
