Brown's Delicatessen

We visited here today after booking with them through Facebook. It’s the first time we’ve been in the area. Was a really super cute little cafe, the man serving was really friendly and so accommodating with anything we wanted (which wasn’t a lot really just some sauce lol) and we ordered a fry up each. Bacon was amazing, not fatty at all, fried eggs were good, hash browns were great, beans and tomatoes all good! The sausage patties weren’t my favourite but this isn’t because they weren’t nice it was just because I love a sausage that’s normal not squashed! My family of six dined at this bistro on Friday for their special steak night. We all had an amazing meal, with perfectly cooked steaks and the best Stilton sauce we've ever had. The use of local produce really shined through in the dishes. Jamie and Claire, the hosts, were as welcoming and accommodating as always.

Freshly cooked food. The soup was delicious. Very friendly staff. Very clean and tidy. A nice varied menu. Small seating area so make sure you book so as not to be disappointed

simple but absolutely posh, high-quality eating and a really friendly host. beautiful small walled garden for spring, summer, autumn, if allowed weather. highly recommended!
