"One of my favourite places to eat in Wigan. The food is always AMAZING! Really hearty, yummy food, i don't think I have ever been disappointed when I have eaten hear. Wish there was more places to eat like this in Wigan."

My wife, several family members, and I frequently have lunch at this restaurant. The food and service are consistently excellent. So why only 4 stars instead of 5? The main reason is that during busy times, they need to ensure tables are cleared more promptly. During our visit today (Saturday, 11th May 2019), we noticed several tables with dirty plates and other remnants of previous diners. The staff did apologize for the delay in clearing them and mentioned they were extremely busy. Overall, I believe this is the best café/bistro in Wigan in terms of quality, service, and price.
This café is lovely, with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food. As a mother of twins, I often worry about where we can eat while out and about with a double stroller (which is not the smallest!). However, the staff here were incredibly accommodating. I found a table where I could sit comfortably with the stroller. The staff was very attentive, checking in to see if I needed anything since I was alone with the twins. I would definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again!
Enjoyed the authenticity of post wartime Italian dining. Loved the fifties ' jukebox type ' music, but it was a tad too loud . Plentiful plate full with decent sized fresh salad garnish. I loved the original wrought iron tables and counter tops, embellished with shining bevelled mirrors. Yep, it 's a pleasant experience having lunch at Bruccianis ,The Marketgate, Wigan
four of us went on Saturday for afternoon tee, it was absolutely fantastic, it cannot praise enough! we were everywhere, Manchester,Leeds,Harrogate etc. but the sandwiches, konenkuchen were fresh delicious, tea, so much we wanted! the service was also great. so thanks brucciani is for a nice day. kath webb. This is a truly beautiful "old style" café. The food was freshly prepared, and the portions were generous. It's wonderful to visit a café that maintains that nostalgic charm from the past. I only wish the music could be turned down a bit. I would definitely come back again. Thank you for a lovely meal!
