Overall, the barbecue experience was decent. The pork and chicken sandwiches could have been a bit larger, but the brisket was quite satisfying. The fries were excellent, while the beans were just average. One downside to the restaurant was the uncomfortable cold caused by overly aggressive air conditioning; we weren't the only ones who noticed, as several other customers mentioned their discomfort as well. With the temperature outside at only 61 degrees, it felt much warmer outside than inside, so we opted to sit at the outdoor tables while waiting for our food to escape the chilly indoor temperatures.
We stopped by this drive-thru while passing through on I-40. Unfortunately, the fries were inedible. The BBQ was just average—considering it's a BBQ place, I expected much more flavor. Be sure to ask for extra sauce, as the sandwich comes with very little. The beans were mediocre as well. On a positive note, the ice cream was delicious! However, it was disappointing that there were no spoons provided for the beans. On the bright side, the service was quick and the staff was friendly.

The young employee I interacted with was also quite rude.

I'm finished with Buddy's. I used to visit frequently, but not anymore. Recently, they've struggled to get my orders right. The last time I ordered baked beans and when I checked, I received green beans instead because the cashier entered it incorrectly. Later, when I tried to enjoy my lemon pie, I discovered it was so small that it was less wide than a plastic fork (see photo). That was the last straw for me. I'm going to find another place for barbecue.
I stopped by the Drive-Thru and was happily surprised to find no line. There were only a few cars ahead of me, so I decided to place an order. I’m a big fan of their Hawg Back Baked Potatoes with Bar-B-Q Chicken because they’re usually fantastic. Unfortunately, this time, the potatoes didn’t quite meet my expectations.
We ordered the three-meat combo and some shakes, and it turned out to be a wonderful meal with generous portions. Everything was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the hush puppies. While the pulled pork was a bit dry, the flavorful sauce made up for it.
