Bügel Fabrique De Bagels

Rarely have I given a 1 rating to a restaurant, but this one is well deserved. Waited almost an hour for 4 toasted bagels, nothing fancy. We inquired 4 times, in both French and English, from multiple workers. After half an hour one came to the table to tell us they were out of a flavour of bagel that we had ordered. We asked for a different kind. 15 minutes (and 2 inquires) later, another worker came to ask us the same question thus proving that after 45 minutes they had not even started toasting 4 bagels. 55 minutes in, they brought us… the wrong order. We were pretty excited to come visit this place but unfortunately we were disappointed on a few things. They got my order wrong and instead of initially apologizing they tried to make it seem as though I had given them the wrong order. Additionally all our orders arrived cold. The overall taste of the bagels weren’t anything special. I don’t recommend this place when you visit Quebec City.

From the reviews, I was worried that they'd be snobbish that we don't speak french. But the server was kind and knew from the get go that we didn't. Food was great!! Felt local and authentic. It was just few blocks from the museum..happy to end our afternoon at the museum with this discovery. Oh We enjoyed our bagel sandwiches that we also bought blueberry bagels to go. You should go .

Went for breakfast. Sesame bagel was not great. Rather doughy. Scrambled eggs look unappetizing tasted rubbery. Came with home made strawberry jam which is OK. Can't really say it was worth the walk to get there. Place was small not particularly clean as saw cobwebs on the corners of the windows

Great place hidden out of the tourist route, more of a local with character. I know this “fabrique” for years, I like the fact that we can eat in.
