Buffet Sunnegga - Réservation de table

We had a mixed experience here. Yes, we did feel sick after having the Rosti and I am surprised to read that other reviewers also had the same experience. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews beforehand or else I might have decided otherwise. Yes, the place does appear expensive when compared to the ambience and the food. Some of the staff were rigid for sure and this was a bit disturbing, however, there were others who were warm. I would suggest this as a stopover for a quick drink and nothing more. Still, the place was teeming with guests given its great location.

Had a lovely run around the 5 lakes with the family. Had a drink at the buffet bar Sunegga but treated terribly by the cashier Rosa. She surely spoiled a special day buy trying her best to make me feel like an idiot. Had nasty remarks about me making a latte in the wrong cup and my card not working immediately. My 7th time in Zermatt and never been treated like this.

Sehr herzlicher und Motivierter Service...ich habe ser geschätzt das mir eine Schoggi Baileys a la minute und mit sichtlicher Freude zubereitet wurde.Denoch habe ich den Eindruck vom Buffet bekommen, das in Zeiten wie diese nicht wirklich auf die Corona Bestimmungen geachtet wird. Hier noch ein bisschen mehr Elan und dann ist dieses Aussichtsrestaurant TOP

Bei Ankunft nach dem schweisstreibenden Aufstieg wollten wir zuerst auf der Toillette die Kleider wechseln.Ohne Begrüssung und mit warnendem Blick hat uns die Chefin indirekt auf das Schild WC ohne Konsumation Fr.2. hingewiesen! Da vergeht die Lust nach Konsumieren von selbst! Schade für diesen schönen Ort! Réservez une table maintenant

Ein Stück ganz normalen Kuchen (ohne Rahm) für .... CHF 8.50. Und das in einem Selbstbedienungsrestaurant! Wer weiss, vielleicht ist der Kuchen ja sogar vergoldet? Was wir auf jeden Fall wissen: das nennt man Abzockerei, Pfui!

wäre hammergeile Kulisse mit freier Sicht aufs Matterhorn...die Jägerstube wäre an und für sich heimelig...aber der Food; in selbstbedienung...aufgewärmtes Kantinenessen...sehr sehr schade

Super Aussicht aufs Matterhorn. Das Essen ist geniessbar und nicht günstig. Trotz Sonne und fast Windstille wurden die Sonnenschirme nicht hervorgeholt.
