We came here for a mid week dinner as we were not in the mood to cook dinner. We decided to try this restaurant as we drive past it often and have been meaning to try it. I must say, we were quite confused by this restaurant. From the decor to the menu. They have an extensive Italian menu with pasta and pizza as well as an extensive Lebanese menu. We decided to go with the Lebanese menu and I had the Kofta, chicken skewer and lamb skewer which came with baba gnonosh, hummus and garlic dip with Lebanese bread. It was our first time at this restaurant and thought from the name and decor on the outside that it was Italian so was pleasantly surprised that we could sample Lebanese food as well. Anthony the owner welcomed us and explained the different Lebanese dishes. We tried two and they were delicious even got additional bread for the three dips. Finished with two very yummy desserts the sticky date pudding and the chocolate mud cake. Anthony also spoke at length about the excellent children cooking programmes he offers during school holidays. Also had a look at the breakfast menu that is served on a Sunday and has both Aussie and Lebanese choices and definitely like to give it a try in the future....
The owner (or manager) is a wonderfully friendly guy and he really sets the ambience. He's really welcoming and makes you feel at home immediately as he brings out a placemat, pizza dough & cookie cutters for the kids. We always arrived right on opening (toddler dinner time) , although found it harder to get waitstaff attention the more people arrived. We found the Italian and Lebanese food (it's a mixed menu) to be delicious. We ordered a kids meal (kids eat free on Sunday's) & our 2 yo devoured some of it before our Lebanese mains arrived & then he wanted some more of that too. I have been disappointed as of late in the quality of food across greater Sydney. This restaurant offered excellent quality food in a home style portion and feel. Ordered the Arnabeet for an entree which was true to a family recipe which the owner offered up in conversation with some incredible sauces. We enjoyed the Gorgonzola Gnocchi and the shish tawook which were both outstanding in quality and visual appeal. I could not recommend this venue more highly for a casual intimate meal.

Booking Made, turned up on time, waited to be seated far to long.This Restaurant was once the "GO TO" in Panania but for some unknown reason they have lost there way. Is it Italian or Lebonese?? Food could be better presented and served "HOT" At nights end the wrong bill was given to our table but soon sorted out. Traning of Staff would be appreciated and so would be some common ideas on how the patron would like to be treated. Over all a hit and miss
This community restaurant is a friendly and warm place to visit and have a meal with friends and family. A variety of modern cuisine is offered ranging from Mediterranean, Italian and Australian. All meals we tried were prepared well and were tasty. The owner is very lovely and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome.
We thought we were going out for some pasta but it turned out the restaurant had been taken over by Lebanese. The food was just beautiful and I would definitely recommend the Barramundi. Staff were lovely and the food was plentiful.
A friendly little restaurant, décor nice, owner attentive, however, lacked the zest and spice you normally find with this type of cuisine. Seemed to get lost in translation when trying to create 'fusion' Lebanese/Italian.

We love going to Burattinis, they make our special prawn pizza and little one loves to make his own pizzas. Great, friendly service. Always a pleasure to have dinner there.
I have enjoyed food from Burattinis but its a bit expensive to visit regularly. The pizzas are excellent as is the rest of the menu I have tried. Give them a try
