I stopped by this restaurant on my way to work today and ordered a burger with onion rings and a diet coke. I was a bit concerned because both the soda and the burger tasted strange, with the soda being watery and the burger lacking flavor. The only thing I could taste was the ketchup. Although the breading on the onion rings was good, I couldn't taste the onion. After another meal, I realized that there was nothing wrong with my taste buds. I believe this was just an off hour and I look forward to returning to this charming place run by friendly individuals. Hopefully, my next experience will be better and I can delete this review.
Burgers are good and i love that you can customize your order... the fries when hot are good. Milkshakes are pretty good. sweet potato tots are delicious! The Pass on the chicken tenders...pass on the mozz sticks. The cheese steak is ok...I come here when I'm in the mood for a quick meal on the go and not a chain fast food place.
Always a good quick meal whenever I've ordered from burger city. If you're in the mood for a simple no frills burger that tastes good and is cheap I definitely suggest giving them a shot. Fries, onion rings and the knish are great too! Chicken sandwich, chicken tenders and the mozz sticks are a bit on the mediocre side.
Excellent burger and good customer service. It's hard to find a good burger below $10 in NYC, but here you get a burger, fries, and a soda for $9.95! They have some solid shakes here as well! Will be taking my daughter back another day so she can give us a rating for the fish and chips as well.

Downgraded my review as last 3 times food has been over cooked tonight it took almost 2hrs and food was cold and dry. Might give it one more try. I met one of the owners in my local deli so if i see him again ill let him know.
This is a terrible burger joint they use bad fries from process diner food distributors. Hamburger is a cheap tasteless meat patty no lettuce or tomatoes no adequate toppings. A waste of $10 next time I 'll just drive on by
This is a great Burger spot. I come here weekly at night. My only nitpick is that sometimes the fries amount in the bag isn’t consistent. Feels like less than there should be. I had the Quarter pounder as well.
Jim runs two great locations. One in Brooklyn the other on Hempstead Tpke in Nassau County. Definitely worth a visit.
