This pub was my last pub on a crawl from Sloane Square and a pub I haven’t seen or heard much about before visiting. One reason is probably because its a bit out of the way and there are so many other pubs nearer the transport hubs. . The pub has two bars which these days is a rare thing in a London pub. Both bars have wonderful high ceilings and have traditional decor. The left hand bar has a beautiful ornate counter and back bar area which looks original. The rating was due to the bathroom access, every bathroom was filled with people taking a bath, the bathroom on the second floor was really dirty floor wet papers from the toilet in the floor and all over, this is mainly due to very high usage. A lady that I made friends with was staying there for a week was complaining about the smell of sweat from others, I've told her even if people wanted taking a shower in this hostel is complicated. Additionally the numbers from the bunk beds are written in black which doesn't help at all someone that enters the room looking for their bed and there's no light, why not some color that's visible during the night?! A last minute booking. Missed a bus in Victoria station. It's a 5 minutes walking distance from the pub and in a quiet area. The staff eas very friendly and I was happy to have got a dormitory at least. The rooms are nice and clean. A shared room is ,well it's for people that know each other or have a deep sleep. But for me it was the last chance to get a bed that night and I am happy to have found that place. Thumbs up for the staff as well. Nice and polite.
Great service! People there, just minding their own business. Friendly staff, my original room was great but unable to get to the top bunk. I requested another bed, but on a lower bunk. The downside other people snoring, I was unable to sleep at one point. I had an early flight and thought, you'll get your sleep on the plane. Headphones is a must if ya gonna stay at a hostel.

This is a very English-style pub. I stayed in the hostel on the upper floor and the bar, which was always open for us, was truly fantastic. Although I didn't try the burger, the beer menu was impressive. During my visits, it wasn't very crowded. It's the only bar in the area that stays open late at night. We had a wonderful time there.

Service has been consistently great over the past year and I have just now thought to submit a review. The hamburger is also one of the best I've ever had. The best burger I've ever had in the UK. It's a bit pricey but I just walked all the way from Buckingham Palace for another.
Very happy with the place, clean and in a generally good condition. In the histel have nice spacious bedrooms, high ceiling. Lockers for every bed, free wifi but you have to sign up to use it. Friendly, respectful staff. In the bar have excellent burgers and good beer.

I will give this place a 5 star even though i lost my wallet and things in the room because i’m not too careful that noone will steal my thing but anyway people is very helpful jaden really help me alot. really appreciate it
While I didn't stay in the hostel, I do enjoy the pub from time to time. Always friendly staff and cold beers. There are two indoor sections and nice outdoor tables when the weather is nice.
