BurgerLab - Réservation de table

This place started off well but has declined. Burgers are hit and miss and lack consistency. The last 3 times the burgers look like they have been thrown together. Our last order was takeaway. They said it would take 15 mins which was fine but after 25 mins we asked how much longer only to find our burgers had been sitting in a brown paper bag and gone cold. The bag had our name on it yet they didn't let us know. We were right in front of the counter all that time. They offered us a free drink when we complained but what's the point as that's not takeaway. This happened to us once before so my husband took the free beer while we waited only to find we had been charged for it when we got home...

For convenience we pop into burger lab Parkdale every now & then. If you've got limited funds, this place is not for you. The burgers are exy, as are the chips ($4) & shakes ($9). But...if they have the smores shake on the menu, make sure you get one!!! I've only had the atomic burger (no jalapeños!) with the fried chicken & loved it every time. Rest of the family get various burgers with beef patties - sometimes good, sometimes look like they've been thrown together by a 14 year old at maccas! Beer & wine list is pretty limited. Overall though, it's burgers & fries. The service is good, the staff lovely & food comes out hot & fast. I'll be back.

Let's start with chips, the beer battered chips were excellent, they came out very hot and very fresh, again excellent and probably the best chips i have had at a burger place. We also had the special chips with cheese bacon etc, try were also nice but I preferred the plain ones. As for the burgers they were also nice probably not the best I've ever had but they were also very fresh, very tasty. Service was excellent and you can also split the bill which is always helpful at work social functions. I didn't have a shake but others said they were excellent and their favourite part of the meal.

My family planned lunch here this afternoon. This was a comedy of errors! Everyone be warned that the restaurant is now permanently closed. My son phoned, a couple of days ago, to book a table. Apparently the phone is now diverted to their Parkdale site - but no-one told him. He duly booked a table, thinking he was speaking to Mentone. We rocked up there, ooops. Checking the phone, we spoke with Parkdale and were told they we sorry but had no record of the booking. We chose another venue. Réservez une table maintenant

Don't turn up here with chump change in your pockets you will only be able to buy sauce. This place serves fantastic food that you can not get anywhere else. Come with plenty of money as you are going to need it. Awesome Burgers, glad to see more opening up around Melbourne. The only down side is the young staff who serve the tables, it's almost as though they don't want to be working, it really needs friendly staff who are smiling and happy to be working there.

We booked a table with my workmates for lunch and really enjoyed served food.Although the menu offers only 7 burgers, it's hard to pick one as they all sounds yum! We were actually allowed to order each burger cut in half, so were able to share and try within our table at least 2 types. Cleanliness was ok and service quite friendly & fast.I'll be back :)

Well I'm not sure what's happened but Burgerlab has just gone from one of the best to one of the worst burgers I've had in a long time, the Atomic was my fav, But oh geez it was awful. It was put together like a McDonalds burger, sorry thrown together. It will take a small miracle for me to return. Based on this last experiences

Being a local we frequent Burgerlab on a regular basis, food always fresh and reasonably priced good range of burgers the chicken ribs are delicious and bacon burger our favorites well worth a visit if in the area great outdoor seating area too. Réservez une table maintenant

went there a few times with my family. burgers are really tasty and there is a big choice. The loaded fries are worth a try and so are the milk shafkes. staf is always very friendly

Nice burgers, chips are good, bit pricy though which was disappointing. Probably $2 per burger too expensive.
