What a fantastic restaurant! Our group of four, including two who are gluten-free, wanted a Saturday night dinner before heading to a show. We discovered Buono through a quick online search for gluten-free dining options in the Bayside area, and the rave reviews we found were absolutely accurate. The northern Italy-inspired cuisine was delightful. The homemade gluten-free pappardelle was so delicious that we had to double-check that it was indeed gluten-free! The Coffin Bay oysters, savory potato rosti fingers, mushroom gnocchi, fish of the day, and kingfish risotto were all exceptional. A stylish dining spot with a warm atmosphere and outstanding service. The dining room exudes a lovely ambiance, particularly in the early evenings when the sunlight streams through the windows. Although the menu is limited, the daily specials offer a variety that can please most palates. During our visit, we chose dishes from the special menu, and they were incredibly delicious, showcasing fresh ingredients and impressive presentation.

I enjoyed a fascinating selection of regional Italian dishes, along with some truly unique desserts. The wine list is extensive, featuring both Australian and Italian options available by the bottle, as well as a nice selection by the glass. The service was excellent; the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, I would rate the food 4/5, the service 4/5, and the atmosphere 4/5. Highly recommended!

it is really amazing to visit buono restaurant. simple, but with a character with outside food for a bit relax. high quality food and service. from fish/meat antipasto to desserts with special tiramisù and cocktails and drinks was all remarkable good. thanks for the incredible experience!
