Rating this cafe a 3.5 star. We got to this cafe at a busy time, so we were sat outside fairly quickly. The staff were friendly and took our coffee orders. There was already water on the table so we didn't need to ask. As it was a nice day, the cafe doors and windows were open so they could take orders for takeaway which was a nice touch to reduce the crowd inside. The food was quite average here to be honest, and the serving size was quite small for the price, compared to the other excellent cafes we've been to. Love coming across new cafes from friend recommendations, and this one didn’t disappoint. And I love a cafe that has a different brunch menu!! I opted for the Salmon Beetroot with Sourdough and it was delicious! The salmon was beautiful cooked and the touches of dill and fennel were really nice. Oh and the celeriac rémoulade was a tasty surprise! The location isn’t any special but if you aren’t after location and just an all round great breakfast/lunch, this is your place. The venu has heaps of space and the tables and chairs are a great size, and comfortable. Oh and most importantly lots of good parking outside! The staff were lovely, smiley and so friendly. At $18, the popular chicken katsu sando is extremely small, like, extremely small... I was genuinely confused and surprised thinking the order got mixed up! This was the same size as my standard sized iPhone with the majority of the ingredients being bread. This was more suited for a child's meal than an adults. The flavours were delicious however. I left and made a pit stop at hungry jack's on the way home. The staff were all friendly and attentive and the cafe itself was beautiful inside with a nice vibe.
It’s been a while since I went to a cafe. The experience was not bad. The staff was attentive when I walked in. It wasn’t busy and I ordered the Turkish eggs, and coffee was course. The dish was ok, though I feel a tad too creamy. The bread was great. One thing though, the dish was served in a flat bowl so if you try to slice the bread at the side of the flat bowl, the whole thing might flip. Coffee was great and there’s free internet. Frank’s have a great thing going. Beautiful Cafe, friendly staff, tasty food and great coffee. I always find the menu a little limited for options that grab me we always end up ordering the same thing every time. They used to have a decent mushroom dish option, but I haven’t seen that for a long time. Streaky bacon is extremely fatty would love to see shortcut option available for a slightly healthier choice.
Booked in for Mothers Day brunch with my kids and hubby, very busy with a quick turn around. Food was absolutely delicious well presented and reasonably priced, and the free scones on the day was a lovely touch. We had the salmon and beetroot toast, pork belly and egg benny and the ruebens sandwich all meals didn't disappoint all plates polished clean.
great local cafe. 1st time here was a year ago, i had the burger and chips. because there was a generous serving of chips, we were allowed to take it away which was great instead of wasting food. 2nd time here we ordered chicken sandwich and zucchini fritters salad and this was just delicious. very flavoursome, satisfied and reasonably priced.
Delicious, unique flavour combinations and attentive staff. Serving both still and sparkling water on arrival was a nice touch. The serving sizes were huge; we would have preferred slightly smaller servings at a reduced price. The chilly scramble actually had a kick to it, and was well balanced by the creamy cheese. Interesting menu with different types of flavors. The service was quite good, the food arrived quickly as well with not any issues, just the environment needs a bit upgrade to give you more warm welcome. So far it was nice to try this Cafe as long time thinking of it. Great job, Frank's team!
