Why can’t I lose weight? Because I find golden nuggets like this place!! I walked in for lunch with the expectation that I was ordering a burger. I asked the guy at the front what the place was k own for. He politely walked me through their history and are now open for breakfast, brunch and lunch. He explained the most popular breakfast sandwiches . He also spoke about the pancakes and asked, after he looked me over, if I was looking for a more “hearty” meal that the pancakes are probably too light. Then he walked through the lunch items. Something was burned in the restaurant. It wasn't the food. That was me. My friends and I played tennis this morning with the uncovered sun that seemed over us. Twas should be only sixty. Sunblock, sweat and sun rays provide a strong tank top, darker skin tones and a strong appetite. Our friends gave us three options and we narrowed it to burn crabs. I had a gut feeling that the food would be good based on the cooking smoke from the roof and the California Giveaway of a crazy long line. The checkout experience was very friendly. I arrived at 9:30 AM hoping for lunch and was delighted to find that they serve lunch alongside breakfast items. I was seated quickly, and my order arrived at my table in less than ten minutes. I chose the grilled cheese with spaghetti, which was a unique twist that caught my eye. The server not only brought my plate but also kindly offered to get napkins and utensils for me. Overall, I was very pleased with the above-average customer service I received.
I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Soufflé Pancakes along with the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich. The sandwich was tasty, with a hint of sweetness that I couldn't quite identify. The seasonal pumpkin spice pancakes were a fantastic deal! They were topped with pumpkin spice whipped cream and came with a mini pumpkin tart and pumpkin spice ice cream. Everything was absolutely delicious! However, I found the pancakes themselves to be somewhat lackluster in flavor.
The potatoes at this restaurant are incredible! They have a delightful flavor and a slightly crispy exterior, while remaining soft and warm on the inside. I also tried the breakfast burrito, which was decent, especially since it included potatoes. The salsa served with it isn't too spicy, but it does complement the burrito nicely. I would definitely return just for the potatoes—they're fantastic!
We loved the avocado toast and spicy meatballs sandwich from Burnt Crumbs. The service is fast and we love that there is a ton of outdoor seating. It’s dog friendly seating outside with some shading. Highly recommend as a brunch lunch spot if one is near Irvine Spectrum.
