It was a busy Wednesday night when my wife and I visited the Burrendah Tavern together with several of our golfing group and their partners. Upon our arrival we were told they were still using the Winter Menu even though it was December. "It's a been a bit cool." was the rather tame excuse. Because of the popularity of the venue there was not a great deal of space between tables and it was a bit of an obstacle course getting to and from the service area where we placed orders and bought our drinks. However the number of patrons on a mid-week night was ample proof of the venue's popularity. Generally the food was of a very good quality although a bit on the pricey side for "pub grub". ...

This restaurant is one of my family's favourites! I've been here so many times and it never fails to disappoint. Their customer service is lovely and walking into the place has a nice vibe and warmth to it. I usually come here with my family and get pasta - sometimes a little too salty but usually not bad . Pizza also tends to be salty as well, so be careful which pizza you choose (more meat = more salty of course). Lucky for them I love salt so it's never been too bad for me, but I know my family sometimes finds it a little overwhelming. I have to say though, I went on a whim one night and got the osso bucco from their new menu and oh my god !!!! It's amazing !!!! Highly recommend - hones...

Bit of a general review since we've been regulars at the Burrendah for the last 8 years, so they must be doing something right! Their menu changes seasonally so every time we go, there's something new to choose from. There are always the classic pub favourites like parmigiana and steak sandwiches, but they also feature seasonal specials that usually have some sort of international theme, such as South-East Asian or Caribbean cuisine. The prices are a little on the expensive side, but they make up for it in portion sizes - you won't leave hungry! Réservez une table maintenant

The Burrendah is one of our favourite places to dine, the staff are friendly, the place itself has a pleasant atmosphere. It can get quite busy but the food quality has always been of a high standard for us. The menu is seasonal, last night I took 2 friends they both had the crispy Tasmanian Salmon and both loved it, I had the Halloumi salad as I had never tried it before and it was delicious. I would highly recommend a visit to The Burrendah if you have not yet been.

This is a well established popular eating place so it is always well attended. The staff are friendly and are kept busy and the food is typical tavern fayre, but compared to other places offering the same standard of food and ambience their prices are on the high side. Almost $40 for basic steak and mash is what you would expect to pay at a higher class restaurant in town.

Went there for pub grub and got more. They organised for a table with room for a stroller (family friendly). Made a choice for surf and turf and pork cutlet plus fish (grilled ) and chips for the kiddo. Steak was cooked as a medium should be, cutlet full of flavour and kiddo even ate grilled fish. Plus a cold beer. Nice surprise !

Rubbish! Over priced and up it's own bum! We had an eggplant dish that was sooo salty and bland. My husband got a pizza which was soggy probably because of the amount of grease in it. I had been a few years before and had a similar experience which is why it took us so long to go back. But after this time, we will not go back. Réservez une table maintenant

There's often entertainment - musicians, sports TV, karaoke. The kitchen is really trying to deliver a good service, but I've found that means if you go in a large group, food takes a long time to come out. Lovely family orientated, local atmosphere in this tavern.
