Strolling along the foot path on our way to a well know quick burger place, seeing the sign out side with this delicious looking photo showing double burger dripping with cheese and a well stacked burger, only to be presented with two burgers that you could not even see the burger inside, dreadfully presented, with the absolutely minimum inside a large bun, all that for £11.90 each, a side of chips that contained 9 chips, we had one beer, one coke and 2 saucy rump burgers one side of chips all 9 of them present the bill for £40.80. We complained to the waitress, she was friendly and told us it depends what type of chef we have in, a other customer close to us ordered a burger no cheese no ba...
The food was OK burger had a big lump of gristle in it and steak wasn't bad, but not the best I've had. Onion rings and chips were lovely. We ordered 2 Long Island Iced Tea cocktails and they were weak as anything...might aswell have ordered a plain coke and at just under £10 a go, that is unacceptable. Worst of all, We could smell a strong smell of cigarette smoke....this happened thorughout our meal and I called one of the staff over and told her about the cigarette smoke and it was unacceptable to smell this whilst eating...she wasn't bothered at all and dismissed it. I told her a second time about the cigarette smoke smell when paying, it was dismissed again so I felt I had no option but...
The food is delicious, but the choice is limited and I was served a beef burger after ordering a vegetarian burger. Although it was disgusting to accidentally take a bite (I have not eaten meat for 30 years), if I had been allergic, that could have been really dangerous. Such mistakes simply should not happen. Our chips were forgotten too. The restaurant was known for their fantastic pizzas but they no longer make them, and you can’t even buy a tea or coffee! I won’t go back, as it was so disappointing, but if you don’t mind a very limited choice, the food (once it’s right) is very tasty.
I had a Handmade Burger oh la lah and fresh rosemary salt fries delicious! Enjoyed the lovely Mint Mocktail, great Alcohol menu which I will try another time. The staff are super friendly and helpful Leah, Cleo and another young lady. I have perviously been to butch and I am never disappointed and I was serve by the manager Natalia who is very welcoming and friendly. Looking forward to trying their steak next time.

As someone who enjoys burgers, I find myself ordering them frequently and often being rather underwhelmed. Butch Annie’s was a different story. Really flavoursome burger of decent size, with good variety on the menu. My only criticism was the Cajun fries were nothing special, but the burger was one of the best I’ve had for a while: Will be returning.
We were waited on by Cleo who was so friendly and helpful! I had the Saucy burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time, the flavours were beautiful and the meat was cooked perfectly. My mum had a vegetarian burger and absolutely loved it. Will definitely be back soon!
Called in on off chance not very busy seated straight away. Served by a very pleasant waitress. The menu mainly consists of burgers but done to a high standard. Restaurant situated down stairs very difficult if disabled. Situated in the centre of Cambridge.

Back again, it was a treat to be able to return here. Many don’t get the concept, it’s easily one of the best in Cambridge.
Terrific burgers and top-end chips served in informal bar that serves good beer. Try the Ivo selection.
