This restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with a wonderful staff and ambiance. The wine selection was excellent and complemented the menu well, with reasonable prices. The menu had a variety of enticing options, and the family platter was a perfect way to try a bit of everything. The hummus and baba ghannouj were good, but the fatuous salad was a standout. The dolma was of high quality and the flavorful kafta really impressed. The rest of the meal was delicious and satisfying. The staff was attentive and allowed us to savor the wine before a delightful ending with the ashtalia, a rice pudding dessert that has been a personal favorite of mine for a long time.
Great middle eastern food in downtown Norwood. Being middle eastern myself, I'm very picky about my food, especially when you grow eating it. Their food is fresh and delicious. The baked kibbee was very good. The kafta, was flavorful and delicious. The waitstaff, and some of them have been there a long time, could use a pep talk in the friendliness department. They're a bit stiff. They're pricey, but the food is worth it. If you like Middle Eastern food or have never had it before and want to try it, this is the place to go!
Positive: excellent food, clean and pleasant environment that allows the Middle East feel Negative: very unfriendly waiter, for the price you pay you would think the portion size would be a little larger. We were seated in the very back room with no other patrons and secluded. Service was not good at all. Delicious food but very pricy for the amount of food you get. Not certain we would return
a fun place for a Saturday night! dancing, etc., fabulous! but do not plan intimate conversations! baba ganoush and vegetarian kibbee were great. humus not very impressive. they put the pita on the table without extras, so it was quite dry when all apps appeared. would have been nice to have something with the pita on the table. the service is slow, but it seemed as if the personal tried. Reading these reviews then eating here me and my family were extremely disappointed. Our server was really terrible and seemed like she would rather jump off a bridge then work. Hummas and salads were good, then we waited a while for very unseasoned food. This food is made for white people. If you have taste go somewhere else. And bring some salt and pepper because you will need it here.
The shrimp skewer was overcooked and tough, but the rest of the food was excellent. I would also recommend reducing the saltiness of the grilled haloumi - it's not healthy to consume so much salt. The waitress and manager were very helpful and even offered a complimentary dessert to make up for the unsatisfactory shrimp dish. Their gesture was greatly appreciated.
I absolutely loved this place! I came here for three days in a row without hesitation because the food was delicious. I would give it 1000000000000000000 stars if I could. The atmosphere was very friendly and the music was nice. I will definitely come back with my favorite person.
Really delicious, beautifully prepared food with attentive service in a pleasant dining room (other than the Muzak...but can't have it all! . Especially loved the lamb kebab, which was perfectly cooked to medium rare as requested and soooo tender. Looking forward to going back! Réservez une table maintenant
