I've been to this restaurant several times. The food is always good and sometimes great. We went there last night and there was plenty of seating for outside so we asked to sit there cause we generally don't eat indoors these days. They had several of empty tables and went to seat us at the one high table they had which is ok if you are at a sports bar or they have no other seating but we weren't asked if we wanted to be at a high table with stools rather than a comfortable normal table. The food was good, the service not so much. I had to ask for a menu because nobody went to my table, after that 30 minutes passed and no sever came. It was not busy and the severs were standing talking and laughing and not paying attention to the customers or at least to me because everyone that arrived after me was served. I got tired of waiting so I asked for them to charge me for the soda I had, after I requested the check a server came to ask if I wanted to order something and I was just like not anymore. I've always had great food at Lewis'. However, last time I went, they were having a function, so we sat on the bar side. My pastrami sandwich was served about 15 minutes before my fries and the rest if my party's meals. It looked and tasted as if the meat had been sitting on the grill for a while, them had been re-cooked. Maybe it was overcooked but never had pastrami that brown. Next time I wipe stick with my usual.. the steak tips have never disappointed.
Ordered buffalo wings and a bowl of clan chowder for myself. Although the chowder was excellent and full of clams, the buffalo wings were overcooked and dried out. The buffalo wing sauce was not great compared to other bars. My wife got a buffalo dip. She wasn't pleased, either. I like bar appetizers, but these were not good. We ordered soft drinks and water.

My son just moved into the area recently and my wife and I took him to lunch there, great place, a genuine old school pub vibe, great menu, the food was delicious, Tried shrimp tacos and the Lewis burger
Just left there Staff excellent I got the chicken wings awful spit it out was removed from bill however my husband got Lewis hamburger was very good and onion rings was good
Enjoyed my visit for trivia night. Had the stuffy and poutine poutine was salty with low gravy coefficient, stuffy was good! Nice atmosphere, lots of parking.
The place was so dark and had no windows. The food was not very good. Serive amazing and lovely staff
