Having had the privilege to sample Crisci's meals a couple of times, we have to applaud him and his restaurant for doing three things.First for consistency in its decor, professionalism, welcoming attitude, and all the elements that combine to create a first-rate experience.Second, for the food, which on any given day is a delight for the senses, be it the presentation or combination of flavors. More importantly, there's a refreshing willingness to experiment which is often very successful and surprising (a few years back it was about using chocolate in unheard of ways).Third, for keeping it real and not disappearing up their own back-sides. Yes, this is fine dining, but - and this is a dist...

The quality of what goes on your plate at this restaurant is formidable. Food is flawless and elegantly presented. Service is attentive and discrete. The highly celebrated chef also took the time to visit all table and politely make sure customers were having a great time. I only have one suggested area of improvement . When looking at the menu, I was drawn by what seemed to be an interesting wine pairing forfeit, to be managed by the sommelier (fine with that). When the bill arrived, we saw that each wine the sommelier chose for us was charged by the glass. I am not going to comment on exactly how expensive each glass was, but that is not the way it works at other establishment of this leve...

This was only the third time we were at Carlo Crisci's Restaurant in Cossonay (I wish we were oftener there). Note that it is always easy to find a parking space there at a distance less than about 200 m away from the Cerf. The Gault Millau Guide attributes 18 point to this restaurant - a very high rating. We ordered one of the proposed menus and were served some 5 different dishes; each delicious, most with a very discrete flavour; nothing boomy. Fabulous fish dish, delicious cuisse de canard, sumptous choice of cheeses. Count on spending up to 200 Swiss francs per person. Note that Carlo Crisci operates a brasserie in the same building with a simpler choice of dishes.

Le Cerf was a lovely experience. However, I'm not sure if it's worth its 2 michelin stars, because although the food was good, it lacked the "WOW" factor. It was however well-presented, with many great colors. I just felt the taste of each dish, especially the dessert, needed an extra oomph of flavor. I was very pleased with the cheese trolley, as the selection was heavenly. Overall, a restaurant worth visiting. I'll be looking forward to their future innovations. I'm sure it is a restaurant that will go far, as long as the creativity of the food, does not take away from the flavor. Réservez une table maintenant

not quite molecular, the chef borrows a few tricks to impress the guests at the moment they are served. Other than that his cuisine is extremely creative with some surprising addition to the menu, for example a small glass of a drink made of herbs usually used to season meat to awake your senses. Or seafood laid on a plate very graphically then he poured an emulsion with a lemon base which transformed all the colours on the plate giving life to the meal. The service was extremely professional but not stiff and we had a great time during the 5h that the meal lasted.

We ordered the fixed-price dinner (three diners) with the most options and each course was delicious, as were the amuse bouches. The brasserie is in a small, contemporary-decorated room. Service by the brasserie waiter and the auxiliary staff, who gave detailed descriptions of each dish, was excellent. The building is 15th c. The chef came by to greet us. Well worth the effort to find Le Cerf.

An heir to the Crissier spirit continues to deliver an elegant cuisine combining traditional high quality ingredients together with less known local herbs as well as flavored olive oils from the chef family's side (Italy). Unusual new Swiss wines with a female sommelier, bravo. The simple decor and pared down tableware let you focus on the fab food. Excellent competent service.

My husband and I visited the restaurant last Saturday. We had a surprise dinner that turned into an amazing experienced. The food was original and very well presented and the different tastes were transporting you to a different dimension. The service was impeccable all the way through. Bravo! The starter fish was raw, the main dish, also fish, was cold. The staff greatly outnumbered the clients, were intrusive, interrupted conversation several times.
