Place is ok but does not deserve a 4 stars. They have a cute little farm with alpagas, goats, rabbits etc. Really liked the fact they had no pigs in the farm (I always found weird to go pet an animal that is served in the menu . They had musicians playing traditional music and it was cool. The cabane is large enough but toilets are mixt and very small for a restaurant that welcome families and kids (only two cabines with an outside door open so no privacy . The service was a bit slow to start but all the staff was friendly. I hated that they seem to have no concern regarding the environment. Small plastic cups on every tables to drink water and they even give you the bill in a cup at the end...

$32 for this traditional meal is on the high end and I was expecting much better. Pea soup should be thick and not borderline watery. There was no indication on the English version website that the meat pies were limited to 1 very tiny pie per person. The smoked ham was served COLD and I was told this is the norm here so I tried to heat it up in my empty cast iron skillet from the omelet. Will I be returning? Nope! I 'd rather pay an extra $10 and return to my all time favorite, Sucrerie de la Montagne in Rigaud where the expansive menu and overall ambiance allow for a true and authentic yearly cabanne à sucre experience!

The experience was decent, but it feels like the quality has declined since previous visits. This was my third time coming here with friends. The mini meat cake portions were small—just half a cake for each child. Overall, the food was good, but the farm animal exhibit left much to be desired. The sheep were dirty, and the goats were standing in their manure and wet bedding, which was quite off-putting and might deter people from visiting farms in the future. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, and the decor inside the Cabane was lovely.

This restaurant was incredibly overpriced for the quality and quantity of food served. We were hoping for a unique and authentic experience, but instead, the food felt cheap and the portions were very small. It reminded us of a fast food experience after graduation. They don’t offer sausages, and the maple syrup comes in tiny bottles—you can't just take one with you like most places do. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we won’t be returning.

I can't express how grateful I am for the kindness of this restaurant's staff. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our much-anticipated reservation at the last minute due to COVID concerns involving some older members of our group. They were incredibly friendly and understanding throughout the process. We'll definitely be back next year! Thank you for your compassion.

Food was good and they made us feel very welcome. Our group was two families with small children and the kids were very happy with the petting zoo. Also, the all you can eat hot maple taffy on snow was just amazing. Some places make you buy tickets and pay per stick for maple taffy... not here. We will be going back.

It was an amazing experience. The Arribale of Spring, characterized by the knocking of maple soap, cooking in the heavenly syrup at this traditional Quebec Cabane a sucre (Sugar Shacks is indeed very exciting. The traditional Quebec meal was equally satisfying. Must visit.
