This will be a quick and to the point review. Somehow, in my 20 years living in Fredericton (I am a Maritimer now, transplanted from Ottawa in '95) I somehow always drove by this joint and never partook in their fare. That was a HUGE mistake! Everyone loves a good ol' fashioned Diner experience. Whether just craving some breakfast for dinner, or need some grease to ease a previous night of drinkin' with the boys, this has all that and more. Our waitress was fantastic. She was young but a seasoned pro; took our order straight away and I swear I barely saw the hands on clock above our heads click past 6 mins before our four dishes arrived! They have all the usual fare, like BLT's, club sandwic...

I have been going to the Cabin since I was a kid. It was 1 of my favorite restaurants then, & still is, 40 yrs later. ....Shsssshhh.....I am Not old yet! Lol It's small and quaint. It's a land mark of Fredericton. ....it made number 7, on the top restaurants to go, when travelling! The staff & owner are AWESOME! They are sooooooooo friendly, and make you feel right at home, and part of the family. They have jukeboxes there since we were kids, and they still work! The food ranges from hamburgers, hot dogs and fries, from hot sandwiches, to home made soups & chowder, to anything from meatloaf supper, pork chop dinner, to steak, lobster rolls in season, and very yummy home made pies, and wonder...

Ate fish and Chips one evening, thought we had ordered the 2 pc. Dinner at $9.00, it was the special. When dinner arrived there were 3 small pieces on each plate, thought maybe 3 small pieces equaled 2 good size pieces so didn't say anything. When the bill came it was much larger than $9. Each per person. Figured we got a 3 piece so had to pay for it. Waitress should have clarified whether we wanted the special or not, we assumed we ordered the special. Little disappointed with this first visit.Went for breakfast and we were fortunate to get a seat. It is not a place where you can linger because a lineup started to build. We were in and out in 20 minutes.Lots to read on the walls, interestin...

Looked for a spot that was local and off of the tourist spots. This diner was a nice surprise. Very busy with regular customers. Service fast and friendly. Remember to look at the menu and then on the wall as different hand written choices were displayed. The accomodated our special request. Prices are what families can afford and portions were generous. Great little diner obviously doing things right has been in business for many decades. Unfortunately only had the opportunity to eat one meal there. Réservez une table maintenant

We went on a Friday for an early lunch as we had heard that this place was small and filled up quickly. Very cute and quirky little restaurant. We both got the breakfast poutine, which consisted of home fries, ham, onions, mushrooms, and green peppers smothered in finely grated mozzarella cheese and hollandaise sauce. The platter was huge! It was tasty and very filling. Will definitely go back to try more dishes.

We were surprised to see this restaurant still open after it being a favourite years ago. The menu is full of old fashioned comfort food at reasonable prices. We all had hot sandwiches with fries and they were delicious. The bread pudding was good too. We went for an early supper to avoid the dinner crowd and it worked out perfectly. The next time we're in Fredericton, we'll be going back!

If you're in the mood for diner food, this is the place to go! Everyone is welcome with a big smile and a hello! My personal favorite is the Hot Hamburg! I add cheese and fried onions to mine. Pies are fresh and always delightful. An old time diner is what we all need after a night out on the town!

If you want a rustic greasy spoon, this is your place. Food is plentiful and prices are low. It's not an immaculate place....it's a drop in diner with good food! Réservez une table maintenant
