If you are a foreign visitor or coming from other places in Colombia, even more, a Medellin citizen, Piedras Blancas deserves your visit and stay if you like camping. Installed on one of Medellin highest hills, this beautiful and tranquil park is plenty of things to do: canopy, kayaking, butterfly's sightseeing, barbecue grills, pets training camp, restaurant, hotel and many more. Here is usual to have availability for environmental speeches and meetings to attend to. One of the places to visit when coming to Parque Arvi, traveling in metrocable thru the metro railway system of Medellin. From the station upside, there will be a bus from the Comfenalco Piedras Blancas park waiting to pick you...
We were not acknowledged for 30 min. After that we ordered drinks and food. Of the 7 vegetarian options only 1 was available. After 45min we asked if the drinks could come out, which they did after 10 min. After waiting 1,5 hrs and every server dodging eye contact I walked to the kitchen to chevk how long it would still take. Was informed that the large table that sat down 45 min after us was to be served first, at which point I walked out hangry and upset to have waisted 1,5 hrs that could have been spend hiking the park.

This was not only one of the best meals I had while traveling in Colombia, but one of the best overall experiences. We had the menu if the day which featured three courses including soup, salad, pasta and hot cider. All were delicious and very inexpensive. The setting was beautiful with lovely views of the park. It was conveniently located just a short walk from the cable car. The owner was extremely nice and a real pleasure to meet. Réservez une table maintenant
This small family run restaurant is located a short walk from the cable car. Look for the 100% Organic Coffee sign on the road when you come out cable car station (about 100m or so walk). I had the menu of the day, which was vegan, for $7,500 COP. The food was good and tasty, but not as fancy as some of the other veggie places I've eaten at in Medellin. Still, if you go to park it is worth checking out and the views are nice.
The place changed owner and name, its next to the restaurant cable-a-tierra that does serve meat. The lovely host explained she may have to move to another spot later this year too. Had a menu that featured soup, delicious mango salad and pasta with vegetables and falafell, which was the vegan option. Would definitely go back there!
