We stayed one night here during a bike trip from st ives and back. It’s a great place all around, room was lovely and very clean. The inn has a kitchen for self service as well and has really everything you need at a very decent price. The owner is very friendly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast in the morning was great as well. They don’t have an website so you need to call to make a booking, they are not crowded at all. Definitely recommend!
The food was decent, but what really stood out was the friendly owner who not only provided us with tasty recommendations but also shared helpful local information. The prices are reasonable, and the restaurant is quite spacious, featuring separate play areas for both kids and adults. It's well-maintained and a great spot to unwind with friends after visiting the Minack Theatre.
After reading some reviews, I was a bit dubious going to the Cable Station Inn but as we were staying next door, we thought we'd give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised...the food and drinks were lovely and the staff were very helpful. It isn't a traditional pub but it is still nicely decorated and clean. We've been back a few times during our stay in Porthcurno. Service: 5

After a refreshing walk in Lamorna, we stopped in for a much-needed pint and some warmth. While the beer selection could use improvement, everything else was quite pleasant. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

I've mentioned it before, and I'll say it again: this is the best pub in Cornwall. The staff are consistently helpful, polite, and friendly. Mick, the owner, is truly legendary.
Good price, good clean accommodation in a really nice old authentic cottage, and really helpful and friendly staff which makes the difference. Yeah loved it, will go again. Réservez une table maintenant
