Interesting find. Having been there one time, I would say overall that it’s a solid eatery. The raw oysters were fine, but the mignonette was vinegary and I’ve had better. The mixed olives are warmed with marinated spices. They were outstanding, but were served in a water goblet. A pretty bowl would have been nicer. They are accompanied by some good crostini, but only 2 small ones. The arancini was good with a spicy marinara sauce. The service was good, but confusing. I wasn’t sure who our server was after we ordered the wine. Overall, worthwhile and pleasant.
I don't usually speak negatively about a restaurant, but this one really needs some improvements. Our food was mistakenly delivered to another table, and we ended up waiting an hour and a half before we finally received ours. Management never came over to apologize, and as a result, we won't be returning. I was genuinely ready to leave, but I didn't want to blame our server for the situation, so we stayed. The food was good, and the ambiance was average, but the management is definitely lacking and in need of a change.
We have heard great things about this restaurant. When we arrived we were greeted that the kitchen was closed for about 20 to 30 mins. We informed host that we will have a drink at the bar and wait. We were not in a rush. We sat at the bar and waited for 10 minutes but were never greeted. We left and told the host we were never greeted.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is really great! However, the layout feels a bit disorganized, and our waitress seemed a bit scattered at times. On the bright side, the food was excellent! I tried their signature margarita, and it was fantastic—definitely the best I've had in quite a while. Réservez une table maintenant
It is our new favorite spot it is top notch! The food, service, staff, and patio are perfect! Were there for my husband’s b’day raw oysters were fresh and delish!! Our server, Kelcie, was Great!! Now days finding a superior dining experience isn’t always easy Bistro 83 is the Best!!
