My wife and I came here for breakfast and I ordered the Brekky Burger and Banana Bread and my wife ordered the Omelette with 3 ingredients. Ham, Mushroom and Cheese. The staff were very polite and lively. My food was nice, the banana bread was...a little bit tasteless and the focus seemed to be on the admittedly nice cinnamon and honey butter, but that's not really where the focus should be. The Brekky Burger was cooked perfectly and was delicious. However, and this is the reason for the low review score, was my wife's Omelette. Within the Omelette was a fourth ingredient. Some hair. We decided to try this breakfast spot based on the great reviews and we were not let down at all. The food was absolutely delicious! In fact, it was so good that we are planning on coming back again tomorrow. I ordered the frit and it was really tasty. It was not greasy or soggy like some places, and I would have been completely satisfied if the person sitting next to me wasn't raving about their French toast donut. I can't wait to come back and try something new tomorrow.
As a last minute choice. , made a booking for lunch. Reviewed previous reviews and I can say we also were not disappointed. Fry the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly and obliging staff.the food was excellent and generous serves. Would have no...hesitation going again and would recommend to one and all.
we went 4 times to the cafe alfons during our 10-day trip to the gold coast. the best breakfast in surfers with great coffee and milkshakes and delicious breakfast options such as eier benny and doughnut french toast. emma as well as all the staff. are always welcoming and very friendly. highly recommended.

This restaurant offers excellent coffee in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was quick and the staff was attentive. The portion sizes were generous. The only downside was the flies that appeared at our table when the food arrived, hopefully this issue can be resolved in the future.
This restaurant is excellent for breakfast with a great location and good menu options. The friendly service is top-notch and I will definitely be visiting again soon.
Walked here for my coffees each morning. Staff always welcoming, coffee good and they were happy to re-use the take away cups I brought back with me
Visited here twice for breakfast both times staff were lovely, service was quick, coffee was amazing and food delicious. Highly recommend!
