I stopped by this restaurant on a whim and it was a decision I didn't regret. The waitstaff were courteous, attentive, and professional. The food was great, and the coffee was the perfect finishing touch. I overheard them handle a situation with a customer who wanted their coffee extremely hot. The barista, through the waiter, explained that this would burn the coffee and could only be reheated in the microwave. It was a great example of how to manage a situation while still protecting the quality of the excellent coffee they serve.
What can I say. We have driven past this place so many times and said 'We should try this place '. Well it was great. We were greeted with a smile and a welcome. Order taken and I had Hash Brown with eggs and bacon and wife had eggs Benny with bacon and avo. The meals were perfect size. Coffee was great. Nothing left on the plates. Service was greT from beginning to end. A must go to. We will be back.
The food here is absolutely fantastic! I love visiting every time. I highly recommend the smashed avocado and feta with poached eggs and salmon! The staff is very helpful and friendly, making the experience even better. This is definitely one of my favorite breakfast spots on the Gold Coast! Thank you for consistently providing an amazing experience!
Do yourself a favour and eat here!! Went on TripAdvisor and found this cafe as #1 for breakfast- it did not disappoint. Outstanding food, attentive and friendly wait staff and made sure our children were occupied with colouring books and pencils. Cake selection was second to none. Will be back.

Friendly staff and delicious food and drinks made our visit great. The chicken burger and chicken mushroom pot pie were both tasty and beautifully presented and our caramel latte and hot chocolate were yummy too. Would definitely recommend Cafe Alfons
The service is outstanding! The waitstaff even remembered exactly what types of coffee we like. The food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The omelets are absolutely to die for!
Staff were so friendly. I had the corn fritters and they are 10/10, hollandaise was perfect as were the fritters. Highly recommend. Some vego options available.
This was my breakfast place during my stay in Gold Coast, it was near my AirBnb. A lovely setting, lovely food, lovely staff. Not too heavy on pocket.

Until recently I had only had coffee at Cafe Alfons, love the place, great food, good prices and the best friendly staff.
The whole experience is next level. The locals know best and this place is always busy but service is on point.
