If I lived in the Swabian Hall, that would be my regular place. But unfortunately, at the end of last month I was only a guest with great enthusiasm. The hedgehog hangs like a bird nest at the heights of the historic old town building. From two terraces you have a magnificent view of the chefs and the city panorama. high quality food with great beer and a great view of the river with wonderful service. Tuna toast, maul pockets, meat salad, wings with bbq and a curry dip that were perfectly fried inside and tender, roasted potato carvings in slices with a mayonnaise with crimped dip that was on the menu for adult. all delicious and spicy, graceful portions and inexpensive. we had balcony seats with a view of the kocher and a wonderful waitress who spoke English. everything ensured a relaxed evening that we did not want to leave. all pilgrims are excellent and better than in the Usa, especially the Prussian pilgrims. fun with roadbob

Came here twice first time for a light bite and a drink. The food we ordered was well-prepared and hearty. Given it was winter, we didn't get to use the outdoor terrace, but it certainly looks like a wonderful spot to enjoy a drink...in nice weather nice views of the Kocher River. There is a bar and two additional rooms for eating/drinking. The second time we went was for a drink as we needed to kill an hour or so before dinner. We sat in the bar that time. Very good atmosphere, unpretentious, cozy, good service, friendly bartenders. Highly recommend.

I was visiting Schwaebisch Hall on a business trip with colleagues from abroad and found this amazing place in the historic center of the town. Friendly people, courteous staff and just a feelgood atmosphere made this visit just perfect. We tried many different cocktails and...all of them were delicious I could not pick a favorite.
