I'm a long time resident, but this location has seen some turn over in the last decade and I was a little skittish. Gave it a try for the first time yesterday and I wasn't expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. I got the mezza platter with fried cauliflower, falafel, and broiled eggplant. The falafel was good, but the cauliflower was amazing, and the eggplant which can be touch and go anywhere, in any cuisine was delicious. The only reason I did not finish all of it was that the portion sizes are huge. Will happily return.
As a Sous Chef in Boston, I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at this restaurant. If you're looking for a great place to eat in JP, this is the one. I just had the chicken shawarma in a pita, and it was a perfect 10/10. The baklava also deserves a 10/10—it reminded me of the delicious baklava my Greek stepmom used to make when I was a kid, giving me that unforgettable "Ratatouille" moment. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Don't miss out on dining here!
By far the best place for Lebanese food in Boston. Portions are hefty for the price, I ordered only one plate and had leftovers for the next two days. Wide variety of plates and typical dishes. The only underwhelming bit was the pita, which seemed to be store bought. Everything else tasted amazing and surpassed other places in the city. Highly recommend .
not a picky eater and not one to leave negative reviews but beef shawarma was pretty much inedible rubbery. Portions sizes are large, salad is fine, but that shawarma should not be served to anyone unless you don’t like them

The combo plate was fantastic! It was filled with wonderful flavors. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, even adding a piece of the vegan pumpkin kibbeh to my plate. It was delicious!

Way overpriced $34 for seitan shawarma salad and side of falafel, before tip. Salad was swimming in dressing see pic. Pita had mold on it see pic. Never going back.

Walking home with half a delicious falafel roll because these portions are Incredible! Always a good visit when I go to Cafe Beirut.
Great vegetarian and vegan options. Easy to make additions and substitutions. Incredible baklava. A real local gem.
