"Classic old style restaurant. Intimate, excellent service, food is delicious, charming atmosphere. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants. Gnocchi with short rib is my favorite dish. They have a great New York Strip steak, lamb shank (special), Brussel sprouts are brought to life, alfajores with your after dinner coffee. I could go on and on. A must go!"

On a Saturday night, I decided to come here in a mood. The hostess told me she had a table for two for me and my partner. (I specifically asked her if I could get a table for four, because I didn't want to sit on other people and feel like a part of my party) she had agreed to. When entering the restaurant the place was full and comprehensible, the older gentleman who worked at the front (not the woman I spoke with) has the table of 4. What upset me was his deceleration and inability to talk to customers. We decided to stay, and that's why we set up a small table that could hardly move our arms. But the waitress was professional, a treasure and made the night more bearable. The food took 45 minutes, the service was extremely slow and we had dirty plates over our very tiny table. I couldn't move without hitting anything. I ordered the Rock Steak who was great, but the rice was too sticky and a mess. The empanadas were just okay, and the patatas bravas was not the original recipe from Spain. It was more like cooked potatoes with sauce, peppers. Ultimately, do not think because your customers are in their late 20?s, they will not spend money and put them in the corner. $200 for mediocre food and bad service, working in the food industry that is not acceptable.

I finally tried this place after living here for 20 years lol! We bagan with empanadas, those were small for five bucks, it was like 3 bites, but they were pretty flavorful bites. We also had the mixed grill and it was very good except for the blood sausage, that was...not good! My only complaint is that the veggies and fries that come with the meat are on the smaller side of things. I ran out of veggies and fries to eat with the amount of meat i was given, oops! I also ordered a cocktail and it was so strong so be careful with the drinks there! service was a little slow and they did apologize for being short staffed. Overall i wasn't really blown away, Ive had better, Im happy i tried it though! Paid around $250 for five people, with apps and drinks.

This place is solid medium and quite expensive. At $15-$20 for a small tapas size plate, I expect excellent food and good service. The food is not bad, but it's nothing special. Service was basically not available. It felt more like taking it and eating it there than eating in a restaurant. There are much better options in the village at this price point. For just $3 more than the cost of beef and sausage fondue, which is a small tapas size dish, you can have a full size chicken parm with salad in Piccolo directly on the street.

Absolutely delicious! My cousin and I came here before a show at the Paramount. Every single thing we ate from the bread on the table to the last bite of food was incredible. The paella I ordered tasted like a warm hug. The seafood was so fresh. The shrimp empanadas were amazing as well. Our waitress was fantastic and helped make sure our food came out on time so we wouldn?t miss the show. I will be coming back as soon as I can to try more items on the menu. Thank you so much for a great dinner!
