We stumbled upon Cafe con Leche by accident and did'nt expect much when we turned up and saw a small little cafe in the corner of a busy street.I am Colombian myself so I know good authentic food. I would rate this place as one of my favs spots in Sydney and was very impressed with the home style food they served us. I myself got the Breakfast and my boyfriend got the arepas. I was so jealous of his food! All of it was lovely and the people were very friendly! also a plus is they sell frozen plantain which is sooo hard to find in the city!FYI its a very small place so do not try and turn up with more than 4 people or you will probably struggle to get a table.
We went to Cafe con Leche for brunch on the weekend and it was awesome. The coffee is great!! The Colombian hot chocolate was lovely. And our breakfast for two (their Nice to Share platter) was delicious. Huge and awesome and featuring fantastic fresh Colombian arepas.Shout out to the team as well. They were super busy and it's a tiny place, but we still got a table without much wait and everything was still great! In a part of Sydney that has lots of good breakfast and brunch options this is a cut above!
This was a little "hole in the wall" small cafe now extended to allow for more patrons to enjoy the hospitality of the owner. When we first tried this cafe, the owner explained and recommended his authentic soup of the day, Arepas and quesadilla and we finished off with the typical Columbia coffee hot chocolate. We have been regular since!Every patron is greeted with a friendly smile and jokes around, What a great place to relax and enjoy a break
Stumbled on this fabulous place on a wet house-hunting Saturday morning and it was an excellent 'stumble'. What a gem - tiny, busy and cheerfully welcoming. Try the hot chocolate with cheese for a taste sensation. When you leave (and you won't be rushed out), treat yourself from the myriad of interesting food and drink extras decorating the shelves around the cosy tables.

My wife and I had lunch in Cafe con Leche on the recommendation of a friend and we were not let down. The coffee was a beautiful smooth chocolate flavour latte that went down really well with the delicious food. We tried the arepas and they were so tasty. Had a second coffee to finish and walked away happy.
Even though it is a very small place, with small tables and very close to each other, the food is amazing and very tasty. Good place to go for breakfast and lunch. The staff is very friendly. ☺
Amazing South American Arepas! Really recommended. The South American Hot Chocolate is seriously amazing! I definitely want to go back.

Fresh food and good service however a very limited menu and lack of variety. Coffee is always good however
