I really enjoyed the escargot even though it had a pretty kick. the suppe was a cream of. sellerie, who was really interesting with ingwer and sternanis, really hit the place with the cold weather on winnipeg. the salat had an orange nvinaigrette that I did not have a big fan of. I visited this restaurant last weekend with my man and mother. we had previous reservations and it was a good thing because the restaurant was very quickly filled. they offer a 5-course dinner for $44.00 and is worth every penny. they can choose. an appetizer and entree, but the suppe, salat and dessert are standard. we ordered Yucca-Patties, chicken cheese roll-up and mushroom cream for our appetizers. we all order the beef-denderloin as our escape. all the dishes were beautifully presented and so tastefully my taste buds are going after more. we recommend this restaurant and make sure that they make reservations.

We thought that Cafe Dario was part of “Dine About Winnipeg’ but when we arrived, we learned they had opted out. When you aren’t expecting to pay a a fixed price meal of $49 per person it’s a bit stunning. Next time, call ahead and make sure the restaurant is partaking in the restaurant feature. So, now we are seated and we realize what has happened. Do we get up and leave or just ‘go with the flow’. We decided to stay. The meal was excellent, the server very knowledgeable. I would definitely dine here again but I would be prepared ahead of time to pay the price.
Went here for a work Christmas party and it was excellent! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they always made sure you were looked after. The food was amazing and looked great. I will definitely be back there!
I travel fine dinning all across canada. This place will not cook with butter on request. How is that possible. Your paying for fine dinning. A place like Denny’s will even butter.
Always a great meal here. A unique cost and romantic place with wonderful food. I always take out of town visitors here and we've never been disappointed.

Best dinner I have ever had in Winnipeg. The filet mignon is to die for. Excellent presentation and execution from start to finish!
