Recommended to us, so thought we would pay a visit during the day, only stopping for a coffee after a wander round the village. We returned the same evening, though there were 6 of us, 4 of our party wanted to try the takeaway pizzas, which they enjoyed. My husband and i were shown a table inside, though being a very warm evening, we asked for a table outside if possible, with that the proprietary lifted the table and took us outside, it was perfect. Though they were very busy, nothing seemed too much trouble. However much to our amusement the menu for the evening was either pizza or mussels and fries, so mussels it was. Ice cold water on the table, our beers arrived ice cold quickly. The mussels turned up, so we dug in, beautifully cooked, thinking we would never finish it all, we suprised ourselves. So to dessert, I am not normally a dessert eater but thought I would try the coffee with the mini portions of creme brulee, small chocolate sponge in custard, ice cream, and two others, my husband had banana split, which was huge, he sometimes would rather eat dessert then a main meal, that being said we both enjoyed the whole meal, the waiter was excellent, happy to chat and joke. Very enjoyable evening.
