Cafe De La Poste

When you travel around the country, it is best to stay in such institutions. No crowds, accordingly, the service is very decent, and you have time to see a piece of local life around you because many locals. This cafe has perfect location on the avenue of platanes. We arrived here on a hot day, take a stroll through the city and after a sweltering walk sit here was very nice. We had non fasting, so the kitchen and did not try, just drinks. Be sure to try the local pastis a traditional drink. Merci)

Our hotel dining room was closed on a Monday, but we ate at the Cafe de la Poste and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cafe brought out red spotted cloths and provided an excellent meal of lamb cutlets, fries (cooked in a fryer outside) and salad, Then local cheese, followed by tiramisu for one of us. We had the local wine and then coffee. Great atmosphere. The man serving us was thoughtful and helpful and I am looking forward to going there again to sit under the trees and have a relaxing time..

What an amazing lunch! The service was great and very friendly. The food was delicious (half a pizza and salad pork chop, salad and chips) with bread, wine and water as well as ice cream for dessert for an excellent €30. Why we haven't eaten there before is beyond me but we will again next year on our holidays. I encourage you not to miss this delight.

We are cycling and under 35 degres and after having lunch there, they refused to fill up our bottle despite the nice tips we offered. Reminder : in France, by law, they HAVE to give water to people who consume something !!!! Tourist trap : good morning !

It was hot as can be. And we found Cafe de la Poste in this lovely city of Mornas. Good break from driving and cold beer and Pastis are refreshing with local service and Provance ambient. Place to be when you need to cool off. Bon Vojage...
