There was no English review for some time in the Cafe Journal, so I thought I would write one after visiting dinner on 2 consecutive days. In good weather the place is mostly busy outside. Note that the table booking is only served inside the restaurant, outside it is first coming, first served. We visited 4 on the first day. 3 had small pizzas and I had a simple weeping carving with fries. The fries were great, but the scavenger sat a bit before he was served what made it a little soggy. It also came 10 minutes before the pizzas, which was a little pointless. Pizzas were missing from toppings, but otherwise they were okay. The second visit was a couple. Another pizza, but this time a big one. Much better this time with a generous topping. Also a baguette that was very good. Service both days was slick and attentive.
We ate here at lunch. The very attentive waiter noticed that we were English and got us menus in English. He was attentive to our needs and explained that one of the dishes we ordered would take time to cook so that it... a waiting period. Good wine and food, the only regret was the generous portions: we did not eat everything and wish we had ordered half.
cozy place with good food. in the middle of the rope with living and atmosphere, so a good service I never had. the waiter - a young man - has only wondered if we are now getting what we have come for and we have done it. Thank you. the food was in order and there was plenty of everything. tasty and well prepared pizza is served only after kl. 18.
in cafe journal the service always agrees. the staff is always helpful and friendly. the price level and the offered performance fit just fine. whether breakfast or pizza, you can look forward to varied and delicious dishes. as a guest you can feel the long-term experience of the cafe journal team and look forward to the next visit.
