I had the shrimp linguini dish and it was creamy and very tasty. The shrimp were cooked just right, and not rubbery, and the veggies in the dish were al dente and not overcooked. A flavorful meal. The house wine was fine. The dessert of blueberry crepe was a bit too sweet for me, but still had alot of flavor. There were alot of blueberries in it! The American coffee was not very good, so I suggest using a Kuerig or real pot for coffee, as it tasted like instant and was not to my liking. This is a very special place. It is an unassuming, friendly neighborhood place in a quaint and picturesque part of town. The food is superb, and the waiter (Bruno) is the best! We had a bottle of Croatian white wine, which surpassed all expectations. Then came the delightful surprise when the musicians walked in: a violinist and guitarist, who serenaded us magically, creating an ambience seldom to be had in this country. This is a keeper!
Cafe LuMar is a fantastic dining spot. It's family-owned and operated, and has a charming atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. Located in the heart of the historic Monrovia area, it's a lovely place to explore. Additionally, there's plenty of parking available both nearby and on the street. Treat yourself to a visit—head to Cafe LuMar!
The food here was fantastic, lingering charm in your mouth. Exotic yet flavorful. Service could be a bit slow, there only one waitstaff running up and down for everyone, but food came out relatively quick. Waitstaff was very nice and affable. Great experience dining here. Would definitely come back again.

Very cosy place. First time but won't be the last. Authinic Croation food. And family run, Bruno nephew of the owner was our waiter. Took the time to explain dishes. Food delicious. We shared the goulash and stuffed cabbage, loved it. If you are imbibing try the Sangria. Lots of fruit, yum.
My family of four enjoyed a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner. The goulash and spinach crepes were incredibly delicious. The staff was very attentive, and the owner was very welcoming. We will definitely return to sample more Croatian dishes.
The quality is decent for the price, but the portions are on the smaller side. It could serve as a backup option for brunch.
