While maybe a little utilitarian in terms of decor, this IS the BEST place to come for breakfast and Café lunch in Mt Eliza, dedicated restaurants notwithstanding. The service is friendly and relaxed, as are the ambient toons and ambiance in general and it is GREAT to note an actual dedicated kitchen and chef in-house, such a nice change. The coffee is absolutely the best around and I cannot but have 2-3 espressi while here. Rich, strong and creamy with no hint of being kept in the headset too long and it does not seem to nmatter who the barista is on the day. It all works. A lovely lunch for four today with friendly service. Delicious smoked fish cakes with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and fresh char grilled asparagus. Open steak sandwich received a big tick from one of the meat eaters and asparagus soup was great too. Nice cold beer, a NZ sav blanc and good coffee. A very pleasant late Sunday lunch.

I went here for Sunday lunch. The atmosphere was friendly. The café was 75-80 % full. I found the staff to be courteous and helpful. The cafe's signature focaccia was exactly what I wanted. It was delicious. The location is also excellent for people watching. I would certainly return if I was in the neighbourhood.

Was wondering past this cafe & needed to eat so I came in. The service was efficient & very friendly without being over bearing. Menu is not huge but nicely varied. The sandwiches are huge, & all the portions are decent sized for the pricing, well assembled & perfectly cooked. Highly recommended. Réservez une table maintenant

Food, presentation service! All in one place. My friends & i found this cafe and happy that we did. The cafe was busy, staff were really friendly and helpful, no delays in waiting for food. Will be back! This is a fantastic hidden Gem in Mt Eliza.

Just enjoyed a very tasty breakfast St the Mount. Hubby had the mountain(big brekky) and I just the eggs on toast. The big break was enough to share. Big tick for the lovely fresh GF bread-can always be hit or miss. Will certainly be back.

This restaurant is only worth visiting if you are already in the area. The views are decent but nothing special. There is an additional $6 charge per adult to enter the maze. The cafe is geared towards tourists and is quite basic.

We have been coming here for the last few years and the Calamari is by far the best we have ever had! The wedges and chocolate milkshake are also yum! It's a great little cafe in the heart of Mt Eliza. We love the little...More Réservez une table maintenant
