The café Orth with its open terrace directly on the pedestrian zone is one of the ideal points for seeing and seeing. That you can drink very good coffee in all popular variations and eat the most delicious cakes, is certainly a side thing for one or the other. The terrace is well occupied from the early morning to the evening hours, but with a little patience you can almost always find a place. If, besides Orth, there are also many other locations in Friedrichstraße, the Orth is for me the institution in the pedestrian street.
Great ambience, beautiful dessert selections, nice to watch for people. But very frustrating if you can't pay with the map - a big problem we encounter on the island. As a local time, they should reflect on the convenience of foreign customers...
beautiful caffeine in the middle of the pedestrian zone of westerland. outside they sit first row and through the passing passersby-bite entertainment the drinks were reasonable price. the ofenkartoffel was delicious, but nothing special.
The food in this café is a great opportunity to watch the people who walk past while you sit and enjoy coffee, ice cream or cold drinks maybe under a bubble in the cold times.

a beautiful place to stay, we come regularly for years and here in the evening to the breakfast and enjoy the great/simple atmosphere.
