We only stopped here to relax a bit and enjoy coffee cake and let our son enjoy the grounds. The location is fantastic picturesque and the small playground tiny zoo rabbit hotel they have for the kids makes a great combination while you enjoy your desserts coffee from inside, especially if you have a window seat. I have to say that my cake was a little dry, especially for a sahne torte, but it was still flavorful and the coffee with rum cream more than made up for it. Our waitress was friendly, sweet, and spoke Deutsch and English wonderfully. We'll be returning here to chill out while we let our son do his thing outside. :
We spent some nights in the hostel and of course we tried the cakes. My plumber strudel was really good and I enjoyed it. You also have quite good coffee, so if in the area and looking for a coffee break this is your place the view is just amazing and the coffee and cake are not bad at all. The place is very packed throughout the day I would recommend to come as early as possible in the morning or as late as possible in the afternoon. The prices are quite high, but the service is good and I think the view is worthy.
We spent two weeks at the campsite in Aschau and Cafe Pauli is very close by foot. We went to Cafe Pauli several times and every time was perfect. Great service great food and the owner always comes round review when everything is okay (nice touch! We always come back here every time we're in the Aschau! Go there and enjoy! The small zoo is particularly popular the facility for rabbits :
Surprise visit after going for a walk in the area. It was a nice sunny Sunday lunchtime and we ate outside on the large terrace that was full of people. Despite being very busy, our waitress was fantastic, service with a smile and very efficient. The food was excellent, as was the view from the hill. Definitely one to remember to visit. We are often here and Cafe Pauli is one of the most beautiful stations for lunch. The view is fantastic and the food and service is great. The staff is very attentive and the service is fast. There is a playground and a small area with rabbits and goats for the children. It's a little off the beaten path, but you won't regret the trip.
