We spent some nights in the hostel and of course we tried the cakes. My plumber strudel was really good and I enjoyed it. You also have quite good coffee, so if in the area and looking for a coffee break this is your place the view is just amazing and the coffee and cake are not bad at all. The place is very packed throughout the day I would recommend to come as early as possible in the morning or as late as possible in the afternoon. The prices are quite high, but the service is good and I think the view is worthy.
Mega schönes Café. Der akuchen ist ein Highlight, richtig große Stücke und wie ich finde preislich völlig ok. Man kann drinnen und draußen achön sitzen. Kuchen kann man auch mitnehmen. Der Spielplatz ist klein aber schön und es gibt viele Tiere. Ein riesiges Hasengehege, Vögel, Ziegen, Ponys, Esel,Alpaccas. Total schön angelegt. Viele Parkplätze vor Ort. Man kann von dort eine schöne Wanderung um den Bärnsee machen dauert ca. 60 Minuten und ist wirklich schön.
We are often here and Cafe Pauli is one of the most beautiful stations for lunch. The view is fantastic and the food and service is great. The staff is very attentive and the service is fast. There is a playground and a small area with rabbits and goats for the children. It's a little off the beaten path, but you won't regret the trip.
Das Cafe Pauli ist ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel und dementsprechend auch gut besucht. Wunderschön gelegen mit Blick auf die Berge. Auf der sonnigen Terrasse lässt es sich gemütlich aushalten. Egal ob du zum Frühstück, zur bayerischen Brotzeit oder zu Kaffee und hausgemachten Kuchen kommst. Hier schmeckt's einfch immer.

Waited for 40 min on a busy Saturday, calling for different waiters and even went inside to tell them that we are waiting. Even than no one came or even said hello! Just left wit a bitter taste! Not a good service at all!!!!!
Idyllic scenery with mountains and meadows. Light lunch well designed with fresh ingredients. Recommended travelers call ahead to reserve a table before returning to A8 traffic jams. Not far from the highway. Good.
Man hat einen sehr schönen Blick auf Aschau und die angrenzenden Berge. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Kuchen bei einer Auswahl von 29 ! Kuchen war ein Traum.
Ein wunderbarer Ort um lecker Kuchen zu essen, freundliche Kellner. Große Auswahl an Torten und Kuchen, toller Ausblick in die Berge. Ein Traum.
