Food was not fresh, lumpy couscous, cold and stodgy potatoes. Nothing like the original cafe rouge, did not represent value for money. Far too expensive for what it was. We would not go there again. A clearly struggling chain with a tiny menu ... strangely enough little was actually French cuisine. Sorry for bad review but that was disappointing and I would really like my money back.
Probably not the best experience of eating out. The place was busy but the staff were nearly all trainees, so our food went to different tables before getting to us a bit warmed down. The manager was apologetic and deducted the price of the drinks from our bill, which also arrive via other tables. All in all, I would probably go back when it is not so busy.
Staff very helpful, food better than most restaurants we go to, I would recommend the duck leg, for main and mushrooms in a cream sauce for a starters. I have to say the restaurant was not very busy for a Thursday evening, I guess that may be because we don't eat until after 8 pm. and most people use this venue for a meal before going to the theatre,
Before going to the theater, we had a meal at the restaurant. We had planned to spend two hours dining, but the service was so slow that we had to leave before our dessert arrived. We raised our concerns with the manager, who offered us a discount on our bill and invited us to come back for free dessert after the show. We accepted the offer. Réservez une table maintenant
The staff were very friendly and took the time to talk to my child. The food was delicious, but we were disappointed that the mussels advertised on the menu were already sold out by 4pm. Despite this, we still had a good time overall. The seating we were on was a bit worn out and covered with blankets.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant, but it certainly won't be our last. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly. Despite the cold weather outside, the atmosphere inside was warm and cozy.
Food was very good however some wasoverpriced I my opinion especially the steak and fries. Pleasant service though and we will be going again xx
