Cafe Rouge Reigate

This was the worst afternoon tea experience I have ever had. There was a lack of friendly welcome, mediocre service, and no manager in sight. Despite pre-booking and requesting the afternoon tea menu, we were told to sit anywhere upon arrival. The wrong menus were initially given to us, but this was quickly corrected. While the tea arrived promptly, the food took a long time to come out. The mini baguettes were disappointing - they consisted of a thin slice of ham and a rocket leaf, and the brie ones were the same. On Friday night, we were warmly greeted by the manager Kris, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Throughout our meal, Kris checked in on us to ensure everything was to our liking, and we enjoyed chatting with him as he is a kind and personable individual who maintains a high level of service at the restaurant. The standout dish for us was the incredible mussels, which were paired perfectly with the wine recommended by Kris. The waitress who assisted Kris was also exceptional. We highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be returning soon.

After dining at the Reigate branch, we were mistakenly overcharged by £30. Despite multiple attempts to contact the restaurant through phone calls, emails, and in-person visits, we have not received a response or a refund. The lack of communication and resolution from the staff and manager is unacceptable.

I was really excited about visiting Café Rouge in Reigate, the food was fantastic. Excellent customer service. Thanks Jenny for her friendliness, promptness and attention. Regular visitors to this restaurant over the years and our favourite cafe in Reigate. A relaxing and friendly atmosphere, good food and a great team. Always made to feel very welcome. The new Manager is clearly committed to good customer service and it shows.

I had visited here with some old mates , and atmosphere was lovely . Very relaxing , caught up a lot . The service was great , lina made is feel very welcome with her friendliness. She gave us excellent recommendations and will be definitely visiting again.

Steak overcooked, rubbery definitely not pink as requested. I took it home and fed it to my dogs. The only positive was the staff being friendly Réservez une table maintenant
