I normally visit Starbucks but in the interest of supporting local businesses I visited this cafe on Friday and had their jacket potato special which is advertised on the A board outside. I visited on Monday and ordered food off the menu, the menu also advertises 30% off for NHS staff which the waitress processed for me on the Monday. Today I visited and the lady taking my order informed me the jacket potato special was unavailable although advertised on the A board outside. I proceeded to order off the normal menu, showed my badge and asked to receive the 30% off for NHS staff. My sister and I went to this restaurant for a cup of coffee, which we do often. The food always looks appetizing. We ordered a steak panini, which was filled with cheese, mushrooms, and plenty of delicious steak strips, and came with a side of salad. We requested to have it packed well to take home, and the owner kindly accommodated our request. It was absolutely delicious. I will definitely recommend all of the food at this restaurant. The owner was also very pleasant.
Dropped in on weekend as no plush restaurants available either here or Subway. Clearly here much better than everything else available on a Saturday morning in Wigan town center. Tasty and affordable with great service (but I didn't ask for an nhs discount see other review)
Lovely staff, quick service and great value for money! The veggie breakfast was lovely, tasty sausages (not gross vegetable chunky ones) and a perfect runny fried egg! The cafe constantly had customers coming in and out and has a nice homely atmosphere!

The owners and staff at this restaurant are friendly and accommodating, always willing to help. The food is delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. We are regulars here, as are many other locals. We never consider dining anywhere else.
So I have meerkat 2 for 1 food and this little gem came up on it, gave it a try and was well worth it! Really lovely owners and food was beautiful! 2 meals for £8.50 bargain! Definitely go again
Ordered on just eat but had trouble with machine so cancelled but the owner foned and explained and offered us a free breakfast defo would recommend great service and good food
Santos Cafe in Mesnes street Wigan is a little gem of a place with polite staff lovely food at reasonable prices a place not to be missed whilst shopping in the town center

The service at this restaurant was lovely, the atmosphere was cozy, and we enjoyed sitting at a private table in the back. We will definitely be coming back again.
