we had the daily menu and while the quality of the food was 'ok', we had the following problems: 1) at the end, when we got the bill we asked, per debit or credit card (90chf) they told us it was 'cash...only'. this is completely unacceptable for a modern restaurant in the center of a busy ski town. 2) service is super slow. we received our desserts only as thinking, at the same time as we were given the bill, 40 minutes after we finished our main course. when we mentioned that this is not ideal service, the older lady who served us became very angry and said she had only 2 pairs of hands. in a ground talk for bad service. I do not recommend this restaurant for the above reasons.
The food is good, they make their own raviolis (good with the pasta a bit too thick perhaps) or make a great pizokel with cheese and lots of vegetables. They also have very appealing desserts and ice creams. The waitresses do not seem too friendly, especially to foreigners. There are children books and games inside. There is a kids menu which is full of unhealthy options, however one can order small portions of regular dishes which are far healthier. The balcony is a great place to hangout on a warm sunny day.
I visited the restaurant twice. The first time with a small group and then again with one, The first time we got fairly good food. The service was friendly but very slow. The second time we ordered the meal of the day. This time the service was very quick, but the food was not good. Far too salty. The waitress saw that we did not like the food and offered us an alternative meal, but we did not have time to accept it.
The quality of the food and beverages is fine and there's nothing to complain about that at all. But the staff is quite unfriendly and you never really feel welcome, especially with certain waitresses responding extremely rude upon simple requests. The Café enjoys a good reputation, but this won't last long if they continue to treat guests in such an offending way.

Very pleasant food and little cheaper than at hotel; Food was good but their English was not so good and we had to pay in cash. Also strange was you had to pay for bakery items separately than if you satin the back and ate at cafe.The gelato was good as were the bakery items. Parking was limited but free infront of the bakery.Overall would definately return!!

Always a nice place to visit either before hitting the slopes either before or after skiing. Basic Swiss Style Cafe with lots of sweets you can choose from.
I've visited the cafe since 1970 and still brlieve they do the best Birchermuesli ever. Lovely view out over Lenzerheide nd the mountains from the balcony.
