We were cycling the south black forest trail. Towards the end of the day (snack time) we arrived to Lenzkirch. We only had another 10k to the hotel and we decided to stop fr an ice cream (a very hot day)The cafe is situated on the main square off the road. It has a very nice seating area with a view of the church (kirch). They offer an extensive selection of ice cream cups (Germans love ice cream) and we ordered the typical Eiskaffee and a Welness cup which I suppsose is called wellness becouse there is fruit in the middle of the mountains of ice cream.Very enjoyable rest that allowed us to keep the smile for the next 10k to the hotel for the night
Right in the town centre, opposite the picturesque Town Hall, this was a pleasant place to drink coffee and eat cake. Connected with the bakery next door, there was a good cake selection. We tourists, of course ordered a delicious Black Forest Gateaux, and the Latte Macchiato was good too. Friendly waitress.
