The dining experience at this restaurant is a healthy, delicious, and fresh one with beautifully prepared dishes, although it can be quite expensive. The service is friendly and the restaurant is clean. During our visit on February 23rd, 2022, it appeared that they were only offering takeout or delivery options. It seems they are not currently accepting dine-in customers or answering phone calls. We enjoy bringing home a glass or bottle of their delicious yumm sauce to enjoy. The cuisine has a rich and wonderful Umami taste that we find satisfying and nutritious.
I've eaten 2-3 times a week here, but I'll never eat here again. today I experienced an rude, condesctive employee who revealed the customers before me in the line. she was fed and went as I, as well as the person behind me. remember how many people these 3 people share their negative experience. Moreover, the quality of their food has gone away, while the costs have gone up. they make one fall and avoid this place as the plague. it has disappeared at the time. there are several other options near (like baja fresh,) where they treat their customers well.
I used to be a big fan of this restaurant until they raised their prices due to Covid, while reducing the portion sizes. The attention to detail also seems to have been lost. The last few times we visited, our orders were consistently incorrect. The bowls were disappointingly small, with even the large size being smaller than what my children could eat. I had to make a sandwich afterwards just to feel satisfied. The food still tastes good and the quality is good, but the portion size and prices may drive us to start making our own dishes at home.
Person cashiering was nice and efficient, communicated well with me and cooking staff. Only disappointed because I come here all the time, got a big bowl as per usual, paid $2.50 for added chicken as per usual, and I had literally 3 strips of chicken. It makes me so upset lol. Consistency is key as they say. Despite raising your prices throughout the years I still come here, it's simple and delicious.. mistakes happen I guess. thanks. Réservez une table maintenant
I typically do not dine at Cafe Yumm, but I made an exception this time. This restaurant is the best by far. Their spiced tofu is perfect and I wish I could replicate it. I must give a special shoutout to Jaime. He is lovely and incredible, knows my order by heart, and serves it quickly. Please give him recognition!
