we have stumbled over this caffe after a long walk. it was like an oasis, we needed a cold drink. inside it is tastefully decorated with a relaxed atmosphere. very clean and comfortable. to our drinks we tasted some cake - a vegan apple-cocook cake and a mandarine with advocate. both were very tasty and inexpensive. the menu consists mainly of drinks, cakes and light snacks. the host was very attentive and gave us some ideas where we should visit and what we should eat. if we ever return to bamberg, we will definitely visit cafezimmer again.
small, delicious coffee on the way to the cathedrale of san michele. excellent homemade cakes (always fresh daily,) very good coffee and attached. ideal for a break after the strenuous up and down in this part bambergs. courtesy service and very reasonable prices, given the concept of the place that contained the menu. a precious stone!
the surprise begins when entering the cafe. the chefin welcomes with an honest welcome smile. the espresso is excellent the homemade cakes as well. the decor retro with a lot of taste and love to detail. surprise fully succeeded. as a gift there are small handmade souvenirs to buy. a lot of luck for the future!
we had the covered apple cake, the poppy cake and a waffel with cinnamon. the covered apple cake was very good, fine and not too sweet. the poppy cake surprised with its creamy covering. the waffel tasted freshly. as it should be. the owner (for all) is very friendly and accommodating. we like to come back:-) Réservez une table maintenant
came to rest on a hot summer morning after the bribe of the michaelsberg. it is tiny (6 tables,?) but bright and welcoming with smiling service, fresh coffee, real hot chocolate and delicious homemade cakes. we were alone and enjoyed this almost private moment very much.
